I asked which home because she had a show. But she was saying it with so much joy. I then told her my dress isn’t really cool so she should take the lead. If only I had known, I would have asked her to wait for me and she would have waited. But because I told her to take the lead, ...

DNA study reveals the first British people had black skin

Image
Cheddar Man was unearthed over a century ago in Gough’s Cave in the town of Somerset. He is believed to have lived over 10,000 years ago. It has long been believed that white people and black people have always had their different colours of skin and the distinction had existed since the beginning of time. However, a study of Britain’s oldest skeleton known as Cheddar Man now indicates that the first British people had “dark to black” skin. Cheddar Man was unearthed over a century ago in  Gough’s Cave  in the town of  Somerset . He is believed to have lived over 10,000 years ago. This and his appearance made him the subject of intense speculation because most of Britain’s indigenous white population are descendants of the people who lived in that area during this period. When we speak of whites and blacks, it is in the belief that white people have always been white. It is generally believed that as mankind evolved, Caucasian populations lived in Eu...

MTV Base VJ, Kudiratu Olayinka Narrates How Two Men Harasses Her By Groping Her Ass In Public

Image
Kudiratu Olayinka, a VJ at MTV Base took to Instagram to share how two men harrased her at The Place, Lekki by groping her ass in public. The security and bystanders refused to intervene and help them caution/walk out the offenders, so she had to record a video to put them on blast. I woke up this morning still upset about what took place last night. We used to raise men, but now-a-days there seems to be more “animals” roaming the streets. I want to say that I was shocked by the actions of those two “animals,” or by the bystanders, or by the staff and security of @theplacelekki who said and did nothing; but I wasn’t. I wasn’t even shocked by the females who were there laughing and telling me that “what is small pressing yansh?” We as Nigerians have become so numb to the injustice and harassment that befalls woman everyday in this country. Even when it is directly in our face we laugh it off or shift blame. Thanks to the few good men like @djspinall and @luskimayana that we still hav...
