UK Trains More Nigerian Soldiers For Fight Against Terrorism
About 200 military personnel from the 707 Special Brigade, Makurdi, are involved in operational brigade partnership with United Kingdom.
Brigade Commandant, 707 Special Brigade, Makurdi, Brig.-Gen. Clement Apere, stated this during the visit of the Minister of British Armed Forces, Mark Lancaster, who led Nigeria delegation to 72 military barracks.
The Special Brigade Commandant said the advanced infantry training was aimed at training instructors who would thereafter train military personnel in the operational brigade partnership with United Kingdom.
